I've Always Wanted To Try

I've always wanted to learn to ski. Growing up in NC did not prepare me for all the snow New England gets each year. I did go skiing one time when my children were 9 and 12. (They are 34 and 37 now) The trip did not go well. We signed our daughter (the 9 year old) up for a beginners class. While she was in her class my husband was going to teach me the basics. However before we even made it down the bunny slope, we saw our daughter fall and not get up. Sure enough she had broken her leg. We spent our ski week-end mostly in the emergency room. It is not a pleasant memory and I never tried again.
