The first thing I look for is the physical condition of the person, how well have they taken care of themselves. Secondly, how they look at life, i.e., their spiritual outlook. Is honesty important to them? Is the person trustworthy, can they carry their own load in life, how they treat THIER family, what is their background, how do they view their parents, are they ambitious or do they just want to watch sports, etc. I don't expect anything from a partner that I am not willing to give to them.
