Me describiría a mi mismo como

I am first a Christian lady who loves the Lord, but I'm not a Bible banger. I just know who is in charge of my life and I pay him homage every day. This is a must in a relationship. I am also highly intelligent, raucously funny, teller of stories, a great conversationalist and an even better listener. I play duplicate bridge, a mean game of Scrabble. I'm also pretty good at hide 'n' seek. I am almost 6' tall and that has presented me with some challenges in life. But my sons who are 6'3" and 6'7" make me feel dainty. I have bad knees and a curvy body (some curves I am trying to whittle away with NutriSystem and get back to my playing weight) - that was my days of basketball, volleyball, horseback riding, swimming and diving. The only athletic thing I do much anymore is water aerobics 3 days a week - but I still think I'm a tomboy, because that's what my brain thinks!! I am a UGA graduate and am a rabid Dawg football fan. I love SEC and NFL football and know more about the game than most men I know. I have been a student of the game since I was about 10, and if you don't like football, fall around me can be pretty miserable. I said I had two grown sons and also have 3 precious grandsons - all who live near me in Athens, Georgia. I love having family nearby, although I don't get to see them as often as I wish. I like being involved in the grands activities, but it is hard sometimes. Everyone is busy, busy, busy -- including me! I love to travel and can be ready to go most anywhere on a moment's notice - 30 minutes and I can be packed and sitting on my suitcase! It may just be a trip to the mountains (which I adore), but I'm always ready to go. I am a lifelong friend with people who have known and loved me for more than 60 years. In my life, I treasure friendship and work diligently to maintain it. My friends would tell you that I am a softie, generous to a fault, the best keeper of secrets, compassionate out the wazoo, lover of fine things, hoarder of junk, smarter than she knows how to handle, and possessor of great zest for life. She would not be afraid for you to ask any one of them any question you might like to ask. She fears not man or beast! She is confidently insecure (oxymoron?)--never heady or too sure of herself. She just has a strong, healthy sense of who she is.
