Basic Information
I Would Describe Myself As
On an eternal journey I'm making my way toward an ever expanding "me", never quite arriving at an identity, but continually in flux. My life is devoted to helping others grow, take care of themselves, and do the same. I have practiced Nichiren Daishonen's Buddhism for 26 years.
I love to read, walk, hike, travel, dance, and socialize with friends and family.I enjoy comedy (such as the current "Big Bang Theory" on TV), movies (just saw Alice in Wonderland", also liked "Pirates of the Caribean"), especially whimsical and funny ones, theater and the arts.
I mostly eat healthy, exercise regularly, and stay physically fit. I enjoy eating out as much as cooking at home. I like to play, have fun and sometimes just "hang out". I love the outdoors, and do a little gardening.
I have 2 graduate degrees from a prestigious university, practice counseling, and love to continually learn. My interests are mostly in philosophy, psychology, health, spirituality, art and culture. I enjoy intelligent dialogue, book discussions, and getting to know you.
I'm attracted to confident, strong-willed men who aren't afraid to reveal their views (e.g., political), and who are open to possibilities---like astrology (if only for the fun of it!), for instance.
I suppose my mission in life is to be a kind of bodhisatva; to help others, and myself get better and better at living a great life.
