I have long, long blond hair. The blond is natural with beautiful white streaks as I get older :) People say I dress well. And I smile a lot. :) People also comment (favourably) on my cooking.

I like all types of music except the really heavy stuff. Used to play the piano. Sing in a choir. I appreciate art and paint when I feel like it. Did I mention sense of humour? Check that box! I can take a joke, or make one! ;)

I was "Born in the USA" (Springsteam country, in fact) but my family moved to Australia when I was starting high school, so I have spent more time in Australia than the States. I go back from time to time. Spent 10 years in California recently, San Francisco, Monterey, Stanford area.

My friends say I'm "low maintenance"! :) I can talk about practically anything. If I don't know anything about the topic, I want to learn.

I am not an intellectual snob. Heck, there are a lot smarter people than me out there! And education is not always an indicator of what I am looking for in a partner: good character, intelligence, wisdom, and a loving nature. I value honesty and reliability above material goods and worldly success. I prefer collaboration to competition in a relationship. I have to compete at work, I don't like to compete at home, too.

I appreciate quiet times. Meditate or just looking at the garden. Go for a walk.

I grow vegies and want to build a pen for a couple of chooks. Currently trying to attract the birds to my back yard bird bath and feeder.

I like trying new things. I have made some mistakes but I get over them quickly. That reminds me, I forgot to put skiing in the list of interests. Also like swimming and messing around in boats. I used to scuba but haven't much lately. As you can see I have a motorcycle and like to take trips. Love camping and long drives. I am planing a comfortable retirement with lots of trips.

Don't mind kids but not likely to happen again here any time soon. Not harm in trying, though :)

Have lots of friends, here an overseas. I travel for work every few months. I like trying new restaurants. I used to have a wine cellar but now I just like the occasional glass of wine. Love to cook. Hope you like to eat :) I like to entertain and put on a nice dinner, BBQ or party.

I do volunteer work helping refugees start businesses. Had a few careers. Ran a business in software development. But I like what I am doing now, teaching and research. Now I work from home most of the time and take the train to the city when I have to.

I read a lot. Mainly non-fiction now. Interested in philosophy, science, and theology but also environment and self-sufficiency. Love real estate but can't afford to buy anything else right now. Used to renovate and resell. Now I just want to stay put and grow stuff.

I jog in the morning and do some exercises and want to get really fit. Wish I had someone to workout with. Also ride my bycicle. Have ridden horses but don't have one.
