I love other languages & cultures. I left home when 17 to become an exchange student in Norway. Then U of Oregon & travel around the world on World Campus Afloat, where I met Joel Douglas, Michael's brother & Kirk's son. We married and at 20, I worked on Joel's film (actress & make-up) in Colombia.
We divorced at 23; Met my true love at 24, moved to LA, then married him (a TV exec. (Tonight Show w/Johnny)) at 28 on our 41' ketch off Malibu. Worked at NBC, Ice Capades; 20th Century-Fox as publicist. Went to China with media execs. at 32. We had two grown sons (and 3 step-sons) and moved to Maine oceanfront in 1999. My dear one died suddenly from a heart attack in 2004, and I can't be alone any longer. Sold oceanfront home to make FL move in 2011 to be close to sons and grandchildren.

Likes 5-star hotels and restaurants; can go slumming, too. Is comfortable around others; enjoys people. Goes on spur-of-the-moment adventures. Is half-full; never a pessimist or negative and grouchy! Not judgmental. He controls his temper. Doesn't belittle or criticize easily. Respects the rights of others. He is challenged by new ideas and places. Helps out in a soup kitchen and is generous with his time and money. He is altruistic. He enjoys attractive, bright, sunny places; takes pride in his home; personal space. I try to recycle everything, and I am not a shopper or wasteful consumer. I believe deeply in conservation and human welfare, and donate to many humanitarian and "green" causes in lieu of going out to dinner or buying unneces
