Seattle native attended Queen Anne High School and worked at a grocery store. Served in the USAF and returned to the store until earning an BA in Business from the UW. Became VP, Branch Manager of a Savings & Loan, earned an MBA from Seattle University. Retired as a Certified Financial Planner in 2012, and as a Registered Paid Tax Preparer in 2015.
