Wow. I don't think it matters what you do. One great date involved a coffee shop, then dinner and a movie. Another started with a coffee shop, thenon to walking around a historical cemetary, then going to buy a kite. It's about the person you're with. It's a great date if I find I like him and can tell he likes me, and if he is personable, intelligent, loves to laugh, can talk about a wide variety of subjects, and actually listens.

To help others when I can, to enjoy life and appreciate the world and all it gives, to take care of my family, to never stop learning, to never stop laughing. To continue to find the world a wondrous and beautiful place in spite of many of the human inhabitants. To try to believe in the human race and find good where I can. I don not care about material things. I've never wanted to own a house, I've never bought a new piece of furniture, and only bought one new car, long ago. I don't care about status or power. I don't follow the herd at all. I don't avoid following it, either. I just do my thing, whatever it happens to be at the moment, and I stick to my ideals and beliefs always.

I love to read. I also do a few crafts - crochet, lace-making, and cross-stitch, mainly. I enjoy spending time on the computer, gardening (mostly heirloom vegies and herbs), camping, fishing, thrift shops and garage sales, and cooking/canning. I like movies, going to festivals, museums, leisurely drives and exploring, visiting quirky little shops, and going to various tourist attractions around the area, especially historical and animals. I love quiet evenings at home chatting, watching a good movie or show, playing board games, and cuddling. I also like trying new things. If the person I am with is enjoying himself, I probably will too.

A man who truly wants a large plus-sized woman. A man who has all the requisite characteristics most of us want, like honesty, maturity, integrity, and dependability. He has to be intelligent and able to have a conversation about anything from Bullwinkle to Zoroastrianism. He has to have a great sense of humor, but not a coarse or mean one. I love to laugh. He should be lively and curious. He should like to talk, and know how to listen. He should be more comfortable off the beaten road. He might even want to dig that old road up and relocate or relandscape it. And he should be affectionate and passionate and caring. Just an all-around great, regular guy. I prefer non-smokers and light drinkers. I definitely prefer that he not be a republivangelist.
