I Would Describe Myself As

I am who I am. I am far from perfect. In fact, I am probably just over the line between good and not so good. The things I have learned over the years are many. Don't be afraid to look silly, especially in front of children. Always pet a dog, stroke a cat. I am a quiet man and I do enjoy some solitude, but I also enjoy good companionship. I am patient and kind. I am not jealous, nor do I put on airs, although, I am sometimes initially perceived as standoffish and snobby, but that is because I haven't much to contribute until I get to know you. I try not to be rude. I try very hard to control my anger and do a good job of controlling it. I have been know to also be a complete “butt-head” to put it politely.
If you see me walking down the street I am wearing blue jeans and a tee shirt with sketchers on my feet. In the summer, the blue jeans give way to shorts. Getting dressed up means I put on a shirt with a collar. Do not own a suit, do not own a tux. Don't want to. I do not have a sport coat, but I have kept some sweaters and cardigans from when I lived in colder climates.
I have visited 45 of the fifty United States. I like to travel. I own a house in Mexico and go down at least once a year. Do not hunt. Cannot catch a fish to save my life. In my youth I enjoyed the winter, skiing, sledding etc., but now I can't stand the cold. I own a small dog. She is usually with me most of the time now, not so much in the summer.
