Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als
One word or a thousand words can't really describe a person...or what that person is like...or what that person wants in a companion. There is nothing that replaces looking into the eyes of that special someone ... uttering something that may or may not make any sense and knowing that this is who you want to share your new life with. I do believe in that "spark" when two people meet for the first time.
In your profiles, you can say you want someone a certain height and weight or someone who makes a certain amount of money, but so often putting a cap on your desires might eliminate the one person who is right for you.
It's difficult coming out of a relationship that you feel was THE relationship of your life. It's difficult to not compare...actually, having had that special love in my life for nearly 30 years, I find that is really isn't that difficult not to compare. The problem is the standards for a new relationship have been set very high. No, she doesn't have to have a 165 IQ, or be 5' 10" or an artist or beautiful and compassionate... but the whole woman has to be complete and independent without hang-ups.
It would be great to find someone who can enjoy the simple pleasures such as walking on the beach or just sitting at a wayside soaking up the views that we have in Oregon.
Of course she would have to put up with or share my idiosyncrasies and co-exist with my hobbies and passions and my studio sawdust as I would have to share or co-exist with her interests. Okay, the interests would have to be compatible...no rebuilding motorcycle engines in the living room. I do have a small studio where I build musical instruments and I do like to spend an unstructured amount of time at that studio. I also enjoy Tai Chi and qigong, photography and love to cook...not really gourmet, but at the edge at times. I also enjoy watching the game shows on the tube and listening to my eclectic collection of music.
I have never smoked and although I don't drink too much (mainly gewurztraminer when I do) I don't mind if someone else enjoys a glass or two.
I probably wouldn't be too easy to live with as over the past many years I'm sure I've become set in my ways for certain things (ask anyone who has rearranged the pots and pans in my kitchen)(or changed the settings on my washer). I do try to add a bit of humor to my "faults."
One last thing: I'm not too out-going and although I do have my social time, I'm not a social butterfly and don't do the bar scene.

Physically?? The eyes have it! Also the lips especially when they smile...the smile tells a lot. What I really look for is a sharing, caring person with no games and no hang-ups. One who will listen and share many of her secrets (okay, not everything) I enjoy an independent, dependent woman (you figure that one out). Also looking for a relationship that could lead to sharing a home..in time. Also someone who enjoys deep passionate kisses...maybe not on the first date.
