I Believe it is Unwise to be Alone

I Would Describe Myself As

Married 30 years, two children out on their own and I'm ready for friendship, conversation and a woman with a sense of humor and a drive to see the what life has to offer.
We all have baggage - don't worry about that.
Things you might not like: 1) I am a liberal in my politics but not pushy about it. (I enjoy discussing other points of view.) Advancement in civil rights is not done but it has been quite a trip.
2) Being alone for nine years will no doubt make me seem like a chatterbox at first.
3) I listen when being spoken with. I also know when to shut it.
I love music and grew up with The Beatles. I have current artists I love (P.J. Harvey being one), but the British Invasion years were a gift.
I've played guitar since I was 12, but no longer sport long hair. I can't - I think my son took most of it.
Drawing consumes a lot of my time and is much more than a hobby. But I'm a person not certain of the quality of my work. But I love doing the work.
I am 5' 11", will be 58 on June 10th, do not have the build of a Spartan.
But other than glasses and the sparse gray hair, I'm not too difficult on the eyes.
I don't mind other points of view and opinions, but my own life experience has taught me to be intolerant of racism, bigotry and offhand dismissal of people for their beliefs or habits.
My father was a Methodist minister so I spent my life growing up going to church on Sunday, youth group on Sunday evening and so on. But I am not a particularly religious person. I don't judge others for being religious but if that is an essential requirement to you, you know where I stand.
