I am 59 and a widow. I live in a small town in the desert southwest. I am 5'2", brown eyes and average size.
I enjoy being with people, my home, and my pets. I have never traveled much, but I would like to someday.
For the most part, I have had a career, raised children, and kept up a home. I am an ethnic mix like many proud Americans. I was born in Paris, Tx, but raised in California.
I believe in God but I am not a church goer. My parents taught me to be generous and giving. I was voted the friendliest senior favorite in my graduating class. I guess that is how I see myself today. I am friendly to everyone I meet.
Life has taught me the rewards of working hard and to appreciate home and family. I have had a career for many years and I enjoy my work.
I enjoy being with people and feeling at ease. I'm easy going, straight forward, and a bit of a free spirit. I love being a woman and I love feminine things. I have had the good fortune to know, to love, and to learn from some amazing people in my lifetime. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and good friends. I am a widow, but I would like to meet the right man and move forward on the journey.
When my late husband and I met, there was an immediate physical attraction between us. When we first kissed, the chemistry was there and the emotional and physical bond lasted our entire life together. We just knew from the moment we met. The chemistry has to be there as well as the passion and commitment. We had mutual respect and honesty in our relationship together and that is high on my list.

Fun is being with friends, good conversation, good food, and good music.

I was married for a long time and I am totally unprepared for dating, but ready to take the plunge. I know my late husband would not want me to spend the rest of my time on this earth alone. I hope to meet someone who loves life, has a pulse, and who is still interested in living life to the fullest. He is a gentleman, yet strong and passionate. He knows how to carry himself and how to treat a woman. He might have rugged good looks, know how to dress well, but is not highly polished or manicured. I'm comfortable in jeans or a pretty dress. What do you like? I'm not perfect and I'm not looking for perfection. Looks fade, but a strong mind, gentle spirit, and sincere heart endure. I admire honesty and integrity. I am not a high maintenance woman and I don't feel comfortable around pretentious people
