I am looking for a man to laugh with and to go places with. I think everyone would love to have someone special to go to interesting and pretty places with and do some fun things with--I know that is true for me! I would love to hike, travel, take a long walks, watch a sunset, or just sit by the fire sipping wine. The kind of man I am looking for will embrace life, laugh, have a good sense of humor, and will leave the past in the past. He will be compassionate toward others, and will lend a helping hand; he will be kind, loving, and respectful toward me. He will know the value of family and friendship.

I am a retired high school teacher and like many, I "used to live somewhere else". I am a mid-westerner who raised four wonderful kids that have in turn, blessed me with seven brilliant grandchildren.:)

I share my home with two beautiful English Springer Spaniels.

My idea of fun is varied. It could be a quiet evening at home with a glass of wine, it could be going out to dinner with friends or/and family, it could be seeing a play or sporting event, it could be taking a walk with my dogs. I would love to share those times with someone.
