Hi. My name's David. I'm English by birth (moved to NZ in 1964) but I will finally become a naturalised Kiwi in November.
I'm just back from a rail tour of Europe and Scotland during which I got stuck in a bath in the Highlands, got lost on a Yorkshire moor and accidentally gatecrashed the Paralympics marathon in Paris. Next year I’m planning to visit Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
I'm a published author. My novel was among the 100 Books of the Year and was serialised.
I’m keen on well written acted and directed movies. A classical, rock, jazz and folk music fan with a special love of Bach, Beethoven, ELO and Capercaillie.
I take a big interest in global events and am a member of Sinn Fein, fighting (peacefully) for a United Ireland.
I'm looking for someone who shares some of these interests and has her own. Someone who doesn't. take herself too seriously, is committed to health and fitness and is interested in books, music and movies.
