I'm passionate about life and all that it has to offer. My outlook on life is positive, even when it seemed as if the world around me was falling apart. I guess you can say that I have an open mind on things, so in times of adversity, it's pretty easy for me to adapt. Like all people I do have my moments but I get over they very quickly. Over the past few years I've grown from my experiences and developed an independence.

I am confident in my capablities and am not afraid to put in the work necessary for my success. When I set my goals, I stick with them. I'm the type of person who is willing to lend a helping hand to whoever needs it. If I can motivate other's to be the best that they can be and made a difference in someone's life, then the feelings I get from that achievement is all the reward I need.

A lot of my free time consists of some kind of volunteer work. However, I also enjoy anything that has to do with the water, movies or bowling. I'm always open when it comes to learning new stuff and would love for the person I share my live with to teach me things he love to do as well. I am a very creative person and love to use that creativity to make things such as quilts.

Last summer I graduated with my degree in education and spend the last year working on my special education certicfication. I have starting a new job teaching elementary students with autism. This has been my dream since high school and it is finally coming true. It has turned out to be a job that truly being me fullfillment.


I was brought up in a Catholic family and still consider myself Catholic; however I consider myself more spiritual than religious.

I love to go just about anywhere. I would love to go to Rome, Paris and Hawaii. I can appreciate a quiet out of the way restaurant with only candles for light. Anything romantic! I can also go wild and crazy on occasion.

Historical romance books are always good reads and I enjoy reading self help books. I also read monthly editions of Women's magazines. Or course being a teacher, I also read a lot of books on education. I love just about any kind of music with the exception of rap.

The man that I'm looking for is strong and open to other people's ideas and feelings. He is someone who genuinely cares about other people and is willing to express that whether they are a friend or a complete stranger. My match knows the role that good communication plays in a relationship and that to make a relationship takes hard work. He has a romantic side and enjoys cuddling on the couch and spending quality time together. Overall he is a good man and is willing to be there for me when I need him. He also lets me be there for him when he needs it. NO PLAYERS PLEASE!
