Self-sufficient, reliable - FUN

I figure it's time to find someone to spend time with and have some fun. I don't "need" a man in my life, but I miss having someone in my life to spoil (besides my grandkids). I'm very giving and kind hearted. But, I would also like to meet a nice man who knows how a woman should be treated but still likes to have fun. I'm 51 and pretty busy with work and finishing my bachelors degree but need to find time for myself in there too. I'm very independent and have a great job. I'm fun to be around and have a good sense of humor. When I make a friend, it's for life. I'm very open minded, somewhat liberal. I love kids and mine are both grown but very much a part of my life. I like to think I'm a very young "Nana". I love music (mostly old rock) and concerts, love to travel, both for work, vacation and romantic get away weekends. I can do outdoorsy stuff, love the lake and take me to a beach and I've died and gone to heaven!! I'm honest (have been called brutally so) and expect nothing less than honesty from my friends and relationships (anymore!!).

I've always wanted to travel internationally, Australia or Switzerland in particular. More on the homefront, I tore my knee up playing soccer so have never got to snow ski. So, maybe snow mobiling instead.

Laughing and being relaxed - sharing inside jokes. Being with someone who let's me be myself is my idea of fun. I love the beach, the lake, boating, water-skiing (I say that like I do it all the time still which I don't), jet skis, anything to do with water. I like to just pile up and watch movies and tv and read crime novels. As long as all is peaceful, I'm having fun.

What I'd like to find in a companion is the ability to accept my kindness and attention and give the same in return without feeling like you're giving up something or that I will take advantage of you if you treat me well. I think if both partners is a relationship treat the other special there is no end to the possibilities.
