I was born in Waterlou Iowa, during a snow storm, in the back seat of a Nash Rambler. The start of my love of travel. My dad was a Korean War vet, and my mom was a 19 year old girl. It was a live birth...
My parents died in that Nash 6 years later. My best memories were of my Dad telling the delivery story! The neighbor packed a suitcase for us and Lorna and I came to Idaho on the Portland Rose. We came alone. I was 6 she was 2. We have always been close.
I live the rest of my childhood in the east end of Boise, ID. I graduated from Boise high, and got a nursing scholarship to ISU. My aunt was a nurse for the state health dept. and her friend was the dean of the nursing school. I changed my major to teaching after a summer spent working for Head start as a tutor.
I have been married twice. At 22 to a 42 year old collage prof, and at 34 to a chemist. I married both men because they needed me. Seven years ago I had what I call a come to Jesus moment. My sister had just gotten her first wheelchair. She said to me we could get matching ones! I made a promise to myself not go there. I lost weight, walked, and worked on loving life.
My Friends decided I needed to work so they sent me to Ft. Hall Elementary to handle 5 IBI students. Every morning they gave me love and I taught them reading and math. No one had touch me and hugged me like that in years.
In May my husband of 20 years handed me a envelope. He said that he would be at the mine for 2 weeks and he wanted me gone.
There was a check in the envelope. I miss my home, I built it, but not that man...
I have built a new life and a new home. I bought a condo, and finished my travel quest. I started a new job. .
I love my new life. I am very independent, and I have lots of friends, but I get lonely. I would like to share my time with you.
I have always wanted a man I could admire. You are it.
Do you want to date a girl who was born in Rambler?
