I am a retired gentleman in my early sixties. I came out west about forty years ago having just graduated from Toronto. I had my own business in which I taught myself to design and build hand crafted antique reproduction Furniture for many people in Edmonton for over thirty-five years. I was also busy with a real estate career while raising my daughter. I eventually burned myself out while managing two careers and being a full time single dad. I had a small stroke and soon realized that I needed to rest and was strongly recommended to retire at that point. That was about 10 years ago. So I have much more time on my hands then ever before. I enjoy reading and writing, having a meaningful conversation over a quiet dinner, Cycling in the parks, swimming, travelling when I can. I am a happy person, quiet in nature. Understanding, forgiving, and being not judgmental of others.I strive to "live and let live", and to realize that I'm no better than and any one else. Humility is very important to me as it ties in with my spiritual life. I have also had a very different and unique past. I have learned so much from life's experiences, and have also, begun to appreciate the wisdom that goes with life experiences.
