I am happy with my life but would like to find a partner for sharing the joys and sorrows, evening sunsets, stargazing, trips to the beach or across the country, fireside chats and picnic lunches. I am looking for a man who will treat me with respect and affection, someone who shares my love of people, life, nature, ideas, and music. I love people and am a good listener. I love to laugh, walk, share ideas, play with children, listen to music, and do a little traveling in this amazing world. I am grateful for each day and intend to live life fully and joyfully. I am a retired teacher and a grandmother who wants to serve my community and leave my world a legacy of peace and compassion. I've done some hiking in national parks, mule ride in the Grand Canyon, hot air balloon ride with my granddaughter, and camping and boating at Lake Powell, and took a trip to Israel with my Interfaith church group. I play piano a little for my own pleasure, but love to listen to others play their instruments. I do volunteer work teaching reading to children and doing taxes for seniors. I walk and exercise nearly daily and eat sensibly because I want to be healthy as long as I live. After 40 years of marriage, I found that 'happily ever after' mostly only happens in fairy tales. I'm older and wiser now, but alas, I am a hopeless romantic and still hoping to find Prince Charming.
