I like to walk and hike. It was no fun alone, so I joined Metro Movers. Their walks are too slow and the hikes are a tad too energetic.
I retired after working 35 years for the U.S. Postal service. I finished my career as a Supervisor of Electronic Technicians.
After retiring, I volunteered for six years at Northwest Medical Teams. I joined them for a visit the orphanages in Romania over Christmastime. I also actively participated in ESL, ENNL instruction at PCC for four years.
I enjoy chamber music, pops concerts, Shakespeare at Ashland, some opera, science fiction, geocaching, cats, sugar snap peas, gardening, woodworking, soft jazz, tinkly piano, morning coffee, dark chocolate, Britt Festival, flea markets, garage sales, antique auctions, pistachio nuts, history, travel and a good steak,
I attended PCC for two years and Multnomah College for two more years.
The only prescription drug that I take is Zocor for cholesterol.
