For me growing up in the 60’s was an open door for life’s greatest experience.
When all my other classmates were choosing to go off to war or college I decided that I didn’t want just to read about history, I wanted to be apart of it! I traveled anywhere and everywhere my thumb would take me, and introduced myself to life. Things that I have learned and experienced during this time are still the basics which make up my core.
I love to get together with friends hang out, play cards, or games, pot lucks always seem to bring out the best food. I love to laugh, being able to joke around or tease. I’m a “Giver” and that’s what I do best. If you would happen to look up the word ‘Hopeless Romantic’ in the dictionary you would find my picture right along side the definitions. My goal is to making my partner feel special, loved by the little things; a smile when you happen to glance up at each other, giving her a card for no reason other then you were thinking about her. Music is my life; I’m told I came out of the womb humming. I love dancing; there not a greater feeling than holding someone close as you dance and romance them.
Like I said earlier I’m a “Giver” I seem to attract women who are ‘my opposite”. I’ve had my share of Princesses this time I want someone who wants to give back. I love women with warm smiles, who have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. I’m not into Dyke drama or games I’m pretty easy going. We don’t need to be attached at the hip for even the greatest of oak trees don’t grow in each others shadows. I’m looking for someone who can/ wants to talk things through someone who loves and will bring honesty, trust, and dependability into a relationship that would be gratifying in ways that allows both of us to grow
I still use the word DYKE and that’s how I describe myself…..not a Bull Dyke but a Strong Dyke. Still I’m crying over the fact that this is the last season for the “L Word”.

What happens on the first date has a lot to do with the communication and the steps taken before it. I would like it to be fun and easy, no pressure.
