Greetings
Seeking a down to earth widow or woman who understands life and subsequent loss. Such demonstrates your desire to go on and to live on life's terms, not just to climb a financial or social ladder. My apologies for being so forward, but I have run into some very odd personalities.
Please be a non-smoker, non-pretentious, educated, holistic, eclectic, sensitive, financially semi-self-sufficient woman to accompany me to the movies and to other cultural events, or possibly for a lifetime. I am reasonably healthy, 64 years old, 5 foot 8 inches, 235 lb.. retired, non-drinker (other than a glass of wine or an occasional brandy) and new to Kansas (to be around family). Due to the ease of air travel and love of the open road, I am open to relocation if you are firmly located and choose not to relocate. I am financially self-sufficient but do not have accumulated wealth. Since my arrival in Kansas a year ago, I have dated than three times, all seeking perfection and wealth, which is a waste of my time. I generally do not frequent clubs or bars for other than an occasional meal and cocktail. Live jazz or a museum, a movie and a restaurant dinner, a live production or (yes) even college baseball all make for enjoyable entertainment; preferring a Sunday adventure rather than sitting around watching football. I am open to new adventures, not restricting myself to my “likes” exclusively.
My history: I’ve lived on the east coast, the west coast, and in the midwest. In addition, I consider myself to be a simple person and a continual student of life. I have earned a BA in Psychology and completed extensive postgraduate studies in the varies disciplines within the Sociological sciences. For three years I was an adjunct instructor at a California four-year university. Physically, I fully understand there is at a minimum, a basic physical attraction that must be present, however, attraction comes in many forms, both physical and what is within your heart and your mind; your personality and overall demeanor and knowledge of life. Should you have an interest, please forward a facial photo and your criteria - and questions if any arise. Please understand my desire for you to include a facial photograph is not a display of shallow behavior, but a basic human curiosity. In conclusion, please know that if you have any physical challenges that (again) I am not a shallow individual. being forthcoming is a trait which is much valued and appreciated.
