I am a semi-retired registered nurse and worked in executive level positions during my 35-year career. I still do occasional consulting projects for hospital companies. I was widowed 2 years ago, have recently moved to the area and hope I'm not the only one who finds it difficult to meet people. I am decidedly not into the "bar" scene. I am an honest, no-nonsense person who enjoys an eclectic variety of pursuits. I love travel, theater, good food (cooking not so much), and the outdoors. I am independent both financially and in spirit. My taste in music ranges from classical (Baroque era my favorite) to Broadway and a whole lot in between. I never really developed "hobbies" because my 60-hour workweek WAS my hobby and I am at a crossroads now, not wanting to work full-time but not ready for a rocking chair!
