I am a young 69 yr. old lady who is widowed for 2 years now. It's getting pretty lonely for me. I have a wonderful family close by, but need something more in my life. Healthwise the past few years have not been kind to me, but I am much better and now want to start living again. I hope to find someone special who is feeling somewhat the same. I love music of all kinds, except hard rock, etc.! Love to do photos and music on my computer, play with my 2 dogs. I am an animal lover! Would like someone who likes animals also. I love to eat out and have a few drinks or good wine and socialize with friends. I am not very active anymore, but I love movies, plays, good entertainment. I enjoy watching sports, going to the coast, I love the ocean, (not to swim in)just love to look at it and walk in the sand, take pictures. I come from an Italian background. I love Italian food, seafood, good steak once in a while. I live with a room mate who thinks of me as her mother. I own my own home. I am short, not skinny, and have 2 toned grey hair and hazel eyes.

A quiet dinner and drinks at a small place with good background music, talking and comparing life experiences. I love music of all kinds and am able to play a few instruments myself, by ear. My friends and my husband always got together to play music. A nice evening with food and drink at home. I still join my friends occasionally to play music even though my husband is deceased.

Mon idée du fun

I love to go to the ocean, not to swim but to get a hotel room and enjoy the scenery, taking pictures, walk on the beach with my cane, eat at a nice place. I also love the mountains. I was born in the Catskill Mts. of NY. Like going out with friends and socializing, watching a good movie at the theatre or at home. Playing with my dogs. Visiting my children and grandchildren.

Someone who can accept me as I am, who is not looking for perfection as I have been quite ill this past 1 1/2 years. I have been through chemotherapy and have had a mastectomy, (a turn off for most men). My husband would have been accepting of it, but we were married for a long time at the time of his death in an automobile accident.2 1/2 years ago.
