am a widow that is ready for the next chapter of my life with a new companion. As a person I like to think of myself as confident but not overly. I don't have the interest in or the energy for mindless, serial dating...it's just not satisfying or fulfilling...in fact, it's tedious. I would prefer to make a good friend or, better yet, a great one. Yes, I will be looking for a long term possibility...I don't typically feel lonely but being alone has its drawbacks. Not looking for perfection...that would be tilting at windmills, not to mention the fact that I can't offer it myself.
