I Would Describe Myself As

I am pretty conservative but not judgemental. I love photography, never leave home without my camera. I like good conversationalist, dancing, travel, my husband and I enjoyed riding on his harley, horseback riding, boating, fishing. I also like going into New York occasionally to catch a good Broadway Play, or at Christmas time to see Rockefeller Plaza. I enjoy reading a good mystery. I am not one for strict schedules because I like spontaneity. I love walks in the snowfall and my two grandsons are a very centered part of my life. I like showing and teaching them new things. I am very loyal and trustworthy and expect the same. My friends tell me I have a quirky sense of humor. I am a bit shy until I get to know someone. I love kids, animals and I try to live by the golden rule. I don't care for people who are dishonest or think they know it all. I am a romantic at heart. I love people who have good sense of humors and don't take themselves or life to seriously. I find joy in even the simplest things in life. My husband of 37 years was murdered in July of 2007 he was my world and my soul mate. It has been a very difficult 15 months and I am not even sure I am ready for this. However, I do long for companionship and someone to just occasionally have an outing with. I, with great difficulty, have come to the conclusion that the seasons keep changing and life keeps flying by whether we like it or not.
