I have a good job, love my home in the country and am happy with the person I have become. Life is good, but it could be better if shared with the right partner - a man who loves and respects women.

I've raised two beautiful, well adjusted young adults and now I am ready to find a partner to share the rest of my life with. Someone who enjoys travel, camping, hiking, gardening, cooking, wine tasting and finds joy in the simple things in life.

My Perfect day #1: A Saturday in June, I wake up early to the aroma of fresh brewed, strong coffee. My dog, Tigger, greets me with her happy dance in anticipation of the dry food I place in her dish. She seems genuinely happy to see me. Dry food eaten and coffee in hand we move outside to sit on the deck.

Gradually, the world around us comes to life and the summer sun is warming my skin. I never tire of the beauty of this place - my little corner of paradise.

The peace and quiet can't last. Tigger barks at neighbors walking on the road below. It's time to get some yard work done and there is plenty to do. Living in paradise comes with a price tag - physical labor - often difficult, always rewarding.

It's early afternoon and the winery next door has a live band playing. The quick Latin beat brings with it a sudden surge of energy and before I know it my yard work is complete.

The music has put me in the mood for paella and one of the blessings of living in the Pacific Northwest is abundant fresh seafood. After a quick trip to the grocery and a couple of hours in the kitchen, I am basking in the evening sun, tapping my foot to some Latin tunes, and enjoying a full bodied Syrah with my paella.

The end to a perfect day in the Oregon wine country is a trip to the vineyard down the hill. Friends and neighbors gather round picnic tables and well placed fire pits to enjoy local bands on a stage under the canopy of old growth trees late into the evening. It's a beautiful setting to enjoy a glass of wine and the company of friends and neighbors.
