Jeg beskriver mig selv som

I like to be active and outdoors a lot although I’m not too fond of the bitter cold, I prefer summertime. I try to eat right (most of the time) however I do have a penchant for popcorn – the caramel kind from Kernels is my favourite. I enjoy a good meal, a fine glass of wine and good conversation. I’m a good cook and love to cook for my children when they come to visit. I enjoy biking, hiking, walking, boating, reading, gardening. I enjoy exploring small town Ontario, weekend getaways and road trips.

I love to laugh, and I consider a sense of humour an important attribute. Honesty and loyalty are also important attributes a person can possess. I have always tried to live my life with honesty and integrity. One of my favourite quotes is by Gandhi: “Be the change you want to see I the world”. I try to model my life that way. I want to leave this world a better place for my children’s children.

I am creative and enjoy a few hobbies, one of which is making stained glass windows. I have been blessed in my life and I enjoy giving back to the community by doing volunteer work with the Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.

I have two cats “Rex” and “Roxie” who are the sweetest cats I’ve ever had. They have similar temperments and get along together like peas and carrots.
