Hey, I'm in the process of entering my empty nest stage of life after being a very involved single-father raising my now 16-year old daughter for the last 16-years. I'm ready to settle down and find that special someone with whom I can enjoy my "golden years".
I have never been a game player or enjoyed hanging out in the bars drinking. I really enjoy an "at-home family" type of lifestyle and have never even learned how to "date" or even how to or where to meet women on a social, dating, type level, too busy with my daughter, I guess. I'm very active in the Colorado Friend's Of Oldtime Music and Dance Community, attending all the Contra Dances and Waltz Nights at the Avalon Ballroom in Boulder and I really enjoy my "on the dance floor" relationships. Reading is my way of living vicarously through my favorite characters. I'm really enjoying reading the Longmont Library's entire Louis L'Amour collection right now. Friends of mine tell me I'm a fun loving, affectionate and sensitive person who is a very good dancer and knows what it takes to make a relationship work. I meditate almost every day which keeps me clear-minded, compassionate, and maintains an understanding heart. I especially appreciate someone who loves to laugh, knows how to forgive and let go of the past. She is willing to move out of her comfort zone to be in a new relationship and create new possibilities in life.
