I enjoy life and all that encompasses. I have a great sense of humor that has enabled me to get through the trying times and relish the good moments even more.

I believe in looking at the glass as half full and having a positive attitude. I truly think that the way we view life and others has a huge impact on what happens to us in life. We learn by living.

I am passionate about yoga. It keeps my body, mind, and spirit in balance, even though, I can easily sway like a willow tree in a balancing position. I have learned that flexibility is important not only in a physical manner, but in every day life as well. Compromise is vital to any relationship, as well as really listening to the other person. It is the little nuances that build true intimacy.

I am a social worker, so I enjoy meeting and helping people. I have met some of the most interesting people in my line of work. I believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of ones station in life.

I am comfortable in jeans or getting all dressed up for a night on the town. I enjoy traveling, going out to dinner, the theater, ( I studied acting a lifetime ago), the ocean, antiquing, exploring new places, quiet conversations over a glass of wine, reading (iI can get lost for hours in a bookstore), trying my hand at gardening, dancing, and the list goes on. I am even thinking of taking up golf again. Get ready to duck! I enjoy a surprise now and then and find that impromptu plans can be a lot of fun, when so much of life is programed.

I believe that there needs to be commonality, yet at the same time it is important to have individual interests, as they add a spark to a relationship. It is like two pieces of a puzzle that seem to a bit different, yet fit together perfectly.

Being older I am not into game playing, although some games can be fun once two people get to know one another. I value honesty, open communication, as I am not a mind reader, and the freedom and respect to be who we are. At times I am silly, yet at others times I enjoy an intelligent conversation.

Lets face it we have histories, yet it is never too late to start new traditions and begin to carve out a pathway filled with memories of us.

I am divorced and have two grown daughters who do not live with me. I adore them, yet would like to have a special someone to share my life with.

I don't feel my age and hope I never do. I believe that age is just a number. It is attitude that counts!!

The way I can describe what I am looking for in a relationshio is the feeling one gets when you take out your favorite piece of clothing and put it on and a sense of ahh comes over you. It is hard to explain in words, but you just feel cozy and comfortable. It just feels right.
