Love exploring, whether it's quaint small store shops or roads "off the beaten path". Enjoy anything to do with newborns whether human or animals. Love gardening, planting and nature. I hike on weekends and would love to find someone who enjoys that also (everything in moderation). Would enjoy going on a cycle and would like to learn how to drive one. One-on-one conversations are great and I'm more of a small group person rather than a large group person. I enjoy dancing, definitely contact dancing. I'm also somewhat partial to Doo Wop music.

I'm not sure whom I would be attracted to, however, the gentleman in my life would be self-assured and confident. I need to be challenged on an intellectual level. I am an independent lady and have learned through the "school of hard knocks" that the more self-sufficient and educated you are, the more choices you have. Any relationship based on needs is destined for failure; needs change over time. Trust and respect are important in my world. I am a direct woman, hopefully in a kind and respectful manner. I don't do well with those who are always the "victims", the controllers and micro-managers of the world, or those who don't function well without drama (we all have "some" occasionally). Occasionally I dream of retiring to a tropical island...are you an adventurer?
