Ik beschrijf mezelf als:
Petite, dynamic, multi-talented strawberry blonde is looking for a mature, chivalrous, multi-faceted gentleman friend (and more to follow) modern enough to be innovative.
My niece wrote the above. Dangerous to let these young people write about us. My pictures will show me looking my best having fun and doing my best looking my absolute worst on Snowbird Pass past Berg Lake shelter on the Mount Robson trail.
This pic of me in the shiny blouse at Litfest was taken October 2007. It is how I like to look. I still wear this outfit and yet I must say I was about 15 pounds lighter than I am now. If you are real and interested in more than the outer package, I assure you I have much more going for me than most of the perfect faces and bodies out there. I am on my way back to the state of fitness I was in with that photo and I choose to use it as a visualization of what I can achieve and what is possible for me. I also hope to meet someone who shares a commitment to fitness and healthy eating. It is so much easier to maintain fitness and eat healthy when both people are committed to the same values.
Eventually, I want one person in my life, who will be first on my mind to share my thoughts and experiences with when we are not together and someone who shares my love of mountains and hiking, canoeing and camping, music (I play guitar), dancing (never sit down for a dance when the music is a siren to my feet), cards and games with family and friends, and writing events in Edmonton. I am a long time member of several professional writing organizations.
I want to live life with my face full tilt into the wind and comb my hair when I feel like it. Before that worries you, I have irritated several girlfriends and my sisters as my hair wakes up super behaved on many days and people might not even guess it hasn't been combed. It's a mystery. I like to go without make up most days because it saves time for exercise, fun, and life. I like to dress up to the 9s for special occasions more often than a blue moon.
I start my days wearing my exercise gear and don't let myself get out of it for nicer clothes or go out of the house clothes until I have done my yoga, stretching, weight training (3x/week) and cardio. I found it so hard to maintain my commitment to exercise when with someone who pooh-poohed the idea of fitness through a regular routine. It is a big help to have others around who are interested in fitness. Mental fitness too. We can always learn more about life and our selves.
It is also much easier to eat healthy when both people want to seek out nutritious food. I have created so many recipes that are a healthy version of old comfort foods. I work out so I can eat good food. I eat good food so I don't have to work out so hard. It's about balance.
spirituality versus religiosity:
I have gathered many aspects from many different belief systems, stirred them all together into my own mixed potpourri. I'm huge on honesty, integrity and kindness. Complementary alternative ways of thinking and seeking health and spirituality are a large part of my thought processes.
