I'm newly retired. Widowed. Enjoy life including time with family, exploring my world, time with friends plus movies, TV, the beach, and so much more.
I learned in my 40s that life is too short not to do what we enjoy whether it's a career or where we live or who our friends are or what we like to do in our free time.
I like to travel, to fish, to eat fine food and drink good wine and to go to cultural events. I like many kinds of music, especially 1950s and 1960s but also mountain music and Broadway tunes.
I'm not lonely, and I have a full life. At the same time I do like and miss male companionship.

So many things are fun. Some days fun is sitting quietly with a book. Some days fun is a walk on the beach. Some days fun is wandering through antique malls. And some days it's going north beyond the Arctic Circle in Norway in winter as I recently did! Fun can be quiet or exciting and often has more to do with who I'm with rather than the activity itself.
