We cannot know until we try. So many women on this site do not really want to meet. WHY? If you are not interested in meeting new people, WHY ARE YOU ON THE SITE? She is out there. Hopefully, we will meet, and it will be beautiful. I am looking for a lady who wants a best friend, will be my best friend, my go to person when times are bad, or when I have some good news to share. I do not frequent bars, I do not go to drinking parties, and I do not abuse drugs. I am 50% Italian,45% American, and 5% Native American, How's that for a melting pot of ethnic culture. LOL! I am a Christian, (I do not smoke, I am allergic to the smoke also) and I would like to find someone who will attend church with me, and take an active interest in the church activities (get togethers, etc.) I am 65 years young, refuse to say old, because most of the time, I don't feel old. I worked in law enforcement for 15 years, and am now a part time motor coach operator. I am also a tour operator, planning trips to Washington, D.C. New York City, Branson, Mo. etc. I would like to meet a lady who also enjoys traveling. I enjoy the outdoors. I like the beach,but l love the mountains. My favorite thing is to be in the Smokies, get up early and make coffee, then go out on the balcony and watch the sun come over the mountain top while I drink my coffee. Of course, It would be much more enjoyable if I had someone special there with me.. I am a reader, and I like mysteries, war stories, and true crime. As far as my taste in music is concerned, I will just say that I'm lost in the sixties. I love the oldies, some soft rock, and some country. Let's laugh together, and have some fun. I like to tease and joke around, but also know when to be serious. I am honest, do not lie, and don't like liars. I hope to meet someone who feels the same way I believe we all make mistakes as we go through this thing called life, because God allows us to make our own decisions. Of course, he is always there to pick us up when we fall. We sometimes take a path because we think the "grass" is greener on that path. Then we find out that it was not grass, but weeds. LOL. However, if we learn something from a bad experience, then it was not all bad.

idealally, we would make the decision together, but if my date wants me to make the decision, I will consult with her as to what type of cuisine she likes best, then decide on a restaurant that serves food that we both enjoy. After the meal, depending on the weather, we can go for a walk on the beach, a trail at an area park, in cool or wet weather, go back to the house and light a fire in my fireplace and pop in a movie while we sit together on the couch and get acquainted, and after the movie, maybe go to dairy queen and get a banana split or a blizzard.
