I'm not afraid to try just about anything. I have bungee jumped, parasailed, boulder and rock climbed, biked down from a volcano, snorkeled and scuba dived etc... I have usually been employed in nontraditional jobs for a female, from working in the steel mills to, most recently, working in the Service Department of an automobile dealership. I have built houses for speculation, carried mail for the Postal Service, worked as a designer of Homes both inside and outside. I love working with my hands on anything creative.I have moved 29 times since I was 18, some of the moves were local but others were to other cities, states and countries. Most of these moves required me to tear the house down and start all over or just rearrange the living space to fit my needs and preferences.

Family and friends are extremely important to me. I draw strength, comfort and a strong sense of identity from their close relationship. Those who know me say I am influential, patient and accepting of others – and calm, cool and collected most of the time. I am content with my personal qualities and feel I am an attractive person. I want a relationship to complement my life, not to fulfill or “complete” it. I am extremely sensitive to other’s feelings and to their body language. Those who know me well would probably describe me as patient and eager to listen to others. I am not afraid of making or admitting to mistakes but I do have a vulnerability to others.

Obviously I would like to meet someone who is not afraid to try different things or to visit or live in unconventional places. I don't need a lot of money or things. What I need is a kindred spirit.
