A mid-western transplant. I live in Florida now but still have ties to Missouri. I own a home in Branson, MO that I need to sell. It is in a golf community and since I do not play, I need to get away from all the fees that this type of communitie charges.
I was born in Michigan and left there when I was 20. I started coming to Florida as a snowbird in 1991 and fell in love with life here. I really enjoy all the things that Florida has to offer...warm weather, beaches, great shopping (you know how women love to shop)and gorgeous sunsets.
I like the good old kind of country music. The new stuff is good but I don't conmsider it country. I think of myself a homebody. I enjoy watching TV, doing crafts (I make handmade teddy bears and I also make fun jewelry).
I have been a widow for almost 3 years now and I really miss having someone to share life with. It is hard to be alone after almost 60 years of a good marriage. I am in good shape mentally but do have a challenging bad back..I ruined it picking up my husband who had Parkinson's and fell frequently. I use a walker to ease the pain. If this would bother you, please look for someone else. This is my only issue and there is nothing I cannot do or at least try.
I am Catholic and a conservative politically. I have met liberals along the way and all seem to want to discuss their views. I have nothing against their views, I just don't want to argue about them. I find Political discussions to be very boring when there are so many fun things to talk about.
If I sound a little bit interesting to you, contact me. If you are a Smoker or do not have a recent photo, pass me by. I used to smoke and the taste or smell of nicotine is worse especially if you have quit.
Two things I do require, a non smoker who has at least one up to date photo.
