Easy-going, candid and jolly fellow looking for a long-term relationship with a confident and realistic woman. I retired from
an exciting and illuminating diplomatic career a decade ago. I'm gainfully self-employed as freelance interpreter and translator (English<=>French<=>German). My taste in fashion, literature and music is quite eclectic and draws inspiration from different parts of the world where I've lived and visited. I admire and immensely appreciate women who know what they want in life and will make bold, imaginative moves to get it. Ditto for a woman who has no qualms about sending clear signals to a man she fancies and will even dare to chase him. French language competence is definitely an added bonus. Any level of proficiency (conversational, elementary, intermediate, advanced) will be OK.
My three adult sons now fly with their own wings. Reduced parental obligations give me ample time to render diligent volunteer service in the public school board and a few community associations/organizations.
