Young at heart, one-man-woman looking for a gentleman of good character for dating. My intention is to eventually find a compatible man for a long term, exclusive relationship. I am a discriminating woman who gives affection generously and receives it enthusiastically.

I have been divorced for years and have left that baggage behind. I am financially responsible and self-supporting.

I am friendly, spontaneous, very outgoing, active and adventuresome. I still like to swim and to fish, both fresh and saltwater. I enjoy taking long walks in the country, walking my dogs, exploring new places, trying new restaurants and doing things I haven't done before. I'd love to go hang-gliding and white-water-rafting before I'm too old to attempt them!

I have a quirky sense of humor and enjoy making others laugh. I like to gather with friends and/or family for BBQ's and the like, sharing good food, interesting conversations and lots of laughs.

Yet, I'm not all fun and games. I can be serious and involved with issues and causes I believe in. I am well educated and have traveled extensively in my younger adult years. I retain a sense of wonder about the world and its people, places and things.

I enjoy studying history, architecture, decorative arts, fine arts, cultures, etc. I keep up with and am very interested in current events.

I am a creative person who loves to read, paint, and write. I used to perform in plays and continue to enjoy the theater and movies. I enjoy most forms of music and the various visual and performing arts. I like to go to museums, especially those featuring natural history.

Jeg har alltid hatt lyst til å prøve

I'd like to try hang-gliding and white-water rafting. I'd like to para-sail again. I'd love to spend a summer in seacoast village in Ireland, living in a small, thatched-roof cottage where I could paint, write and read to my heart's content; then I'd spend time in the village and pub, making friends with the locals.

Trying something new ~ day trip to a new place, eating out at a new restaurant, going on an adventure. I like long walks, painting, dancing, sight-seeing, having friends/family over for good food, fun, and laughs. Like to see new exhibits at museums.
