The first question I am usually asked when contacted by a prospective date is “what are you looking for in a man”………..so I thought I would start my profile with some of the characteristics I find intriguing in a mate. I would like him to be happy in his life but want a woman to make his life more comforting and enjoyable. He should be willing to accept that the glass is always half full even when you feel there has to be a crack in it somewhere. Do you like rides to no where in particular? Does the smell of the ocean give you a new lease on life? Would an afternoon paddling across a calm lake in our kayak make the weekend almost perfect? Are you capable of fixing a leaky faucet and know the difference between an adjustable wrench and a crescent one? Do you do dishes or have a problem with me taking out the trash. Can I bring home the bacon and you fry it up in the pan? Do you send flowers because it is not my birthday but thinking of me makes you want to for no reason at all? Is your idea of a perfect Sunday morning lying in bed later than usual and munching on toast with strawberry jam while reading the Sunday paper? Would you shampoo my hair in the shower? Will you let me make the bed without a top sheet just because I am so cold blooded? Does this profile make you want to know the woman who wrote it? Or are you already dragging the kayak out of the garage?
What do we have to loose? ..doesn’t have to be a big deal just a casual thing….grab our bike’s meet at the local soda counter and reminisce….Let’s give it a whirl…I could be your girl!
