I'm somewhat shy until I get to know you, so I hope you won't hold that against me the first time we meet. I'm pretty laid back. I would be classified as an amiable woman who is looking for an amiable man to share life with. I've decided I'm too young to spend the rest of my life alone. Looking for someone who is more a home body than anything else, but I hope he would like to go to an occasional movie, dinner out, perhaps a walk in the park on a nice day, a flea market every now and then. I like to dance but haven't danced in a long time. I enjoy weekend trips but none of the things I've listed are really much fun without somebody to share it with. I'm a decent cook and I collect cook books more than I use them. I like to work out at a ladies gym that i joined in January Usually work out 5 days a week for close to two hours. I know it's important to stay physically active but I'm not athletic in any sense of the word. I like to watch Univ of Oklahoma football. I have three children and seven wonderful grandchildren. My main roommate is my sweet little Yorkie/Long-Hair Chihuaha mix, Schatzie.

First dates are tough -- everybody is nervous and wants to make a good impression and you only have one time to make a good first impression. For simplicity's sake, I would say we should meet in a quiet, public place so we can talk and see if anything clicks. I know from personal experience, it takes more than one meeting to know if you might mesh with the other person. Of course, there's always the exception. The meeting could be in a public park or a quiet restaurant.
