I love to read and to think about words. I read fiction, linguistics, political commentary and the news. Read the New Yorker, The Nation (and often do the puzzle), NY Rev of Books. I love art and music, so I visit museums and sing in a chorus.

I'm self-employed as a counselor and still love what I do, with plenty of freedom for friends and other activities. Activities? Besides hanging out, museums, and galleries, how about road trips to explore our beautiful northern California or farther, or biking, looking at photography, architecture, sharing books and ideas.
