Basic Information
I Would Describe Myself As
My friends tell me I am good hearted, with a good sense of humor. I love to make people laugh and I love them to make me laugh. I don't go a day without laughing. Laughing is like medicine for your soul. I also can laugh at myself. When I was a child and my brother and two sisters were in the backseat of the car, instead of getting in trouble for fighting in the car, we would be told to keep our laughing to a minimum because Dad was trying to drive. Having 6 grandchildren is a whole other area to laugh.
I would like to be more active. But for me it is really boring and kind of uncomfortable (with all the strangers) going to the gym all by myself. I would like to be able to encourage and to be encouraged to live a more active lifestyle.
I have lived in the Portage area for around 25 years. I own my own home and I am proudly debt free. I plan on retiring when I am 60 and would like to travel. I have never been out of the continental United states. I love flying, although I wish they could have given each passenger the nice leg and arm room they give first class seating. Going by car can be fun too.
I would like someone who is easy going, happy, comfortable and respectful around others. Family should be important as it is to me. I have 2 yorkies so I hope you like small dogs that want to be on your lap. A good sense of humor and being funny himself is a great plus. He should also knows when its important to stay focused. A person who is always a gentleman and always makes sure he looks good when he walks out the door. I like a man who can take charge of the relationship and show he is not afraid to move forward. And yes, communication is a must in all situations.
I am a little old fashioned and will most always let the men contact me. So if interested contact me. If I contact you back you know it's a start.
Really, life is not that hard. I am thankful for all that I have and I don't sweat the small stuff. I want a partner, a best friend, a real gentleman. I hope it is you.
