Petite, active, Christian/widow. Family&friends very imp. Love to travel, dance, watch prof & collegiate football, theater, nature, beach & mtns., crafts, flowers, photography, cards, movies, music, walking/cycling, have the desire to maintain good health and hygiene, am a people person, loving, sharing, compassionate, loyal, honest, and cherish my 5 LB.dog. Would enjoy getting to know&share the good life experience as well as the difficult ones with someone with similar attributes. Like to broaden my understanding of other cultures (esp.European)and visit their countries. A positive attitude filled with laughter and enhanced by good communication is vital between two individuals.Must feel comfortable to trust, confide & seek support from a special someone. Establishing a close friendship is also vital. Sharing like interests and expanding to new ones mutually interesting can enrich a friendship. Both individuals must be dependable, caring, and enjoy the two families' involvement. Prefer non-argumentive, relaxed environment with a desire to put into life as much as you want to get from it. Life is too short & precious to not participate in and be thankful for all the blessings we are given. Generally like casual dress, but can dress up for the occasion. Adore grandchildren, sightseeing, exploring less traveled roads - going & returning different routes. Love to read, enjoy historical sites, sit in front of a fire with a romantic movie and a glass of wine.
I truly believe respect is very important in any relationship, devoid of sarcarsm and comprimising your friend. I have many interests and can always develop more. My professional career was very rewarding and included interacting with top level governmental executives and their spouses. Traveled to almost every state and was headquartered in DC for 17 yrs. Have also lived in NC, PA, CT and of course, FL. I prefer warm winters and year round convenience of going outdoors. A fresh fallen snow is beautiful, but not for commuting. Cruising is very enjoyable and exciting--no need to unpack but once and there is always something to do. I appreciate being treated like a lady and will return in kind. Good manners, expressions of kindness are also a wonderful quality. Hopefully, this has given a little insight into my personality, character, and belief we all need to seek friends who have similar traits.
