I am a retired professor with a Ph.D. in Management, who reads widely and has written numerous books. I love romantic popular music, movies and books-love to travel to scenic places (now by auto) and dine out frequently. I am religous but love to dance when I can find a nice place-infrequent in the south. My wife passed away this year and though not trying to replace her, just desire a traveling, dining companion who has an interest in areas mentioned. We danced at the top of a hotel in San Francisco, to Tommy Dorsey at Hilton Head and to an orchestra at Turku Finland. We traveled to twenty countries, sometimes with my consuting-others conferencing, and occasionally just vacationing. Now because of the world situation I confine my travel to hundred mile trips, sometimes overnight. I have former students who I assisted and who have furnished me their vacation ranch in Montana, an apartment on Park Avenue, and a national heritage home in Dallas. Before I began my college work I spent three years in the Marine Corps Airwing and was discharged as a Sergeant. I consider myself actively creative and imaginative, neat and with an eye for nice clothes and cars. I drive a Lexus and buy many of my clothes at Joseph A. Banks.

My favorite places visited in the past are Florence, Italy and Eureka, Montana. My favorite color is green, my favorite fiction is Nicholas Sparks The Notebook (and similar) and favorite historical fiction is James Michener's books, most of which I have read.

I am presently writing a memoir about my life and loves and placing some digests of chapters on a social network. In conclusion, if not careful, I tend to talk and to write too much.
