I enjoy solitude, as this is the time I read or write, whilst listening to diverse and eclectic musical selections. Music has a way of elevating my soul, focusing my mind, and helps the Muse to inspire me. I enjoy quiet moments talking, or sharing a glass of wine with family and friends, even on the 'net, on just about any subject - even politics! One day I hope to meet some of my fave singers: Josh Groban, Michael Bubble, Andrea Bocelli, producer/writer David Foster, Joshua Bell, Barry Manilow, Peter Cincotti, trumpeter Chris Botti - and many others. My daughters are my proudest and greatest achievements, my legacy - they keep me young!
My mother helped form my appreciation and love of the written word, languages, the sounds of different types of music, the simple and complicated forms of dance, the warmth of paintings, the beauty of workmanship (Faberge Eggs), the happiness and sadness of being 'owned' by a cat or dog with their unwavering loyalty, the companionship of true friends near and far, the ups and downs of family, and my fertile imagination.
Qualities I look for are a combination of various, such as: Honesty, open-mindedness, receptive, humor, caring, respect, non-judgmental. I enjoy good friends, family, my pets, talking, car racing, moonlight walks (preferably on a beach), star watching, dancing, learning, driving around, concerts, reading, speaking other languages (practicing), writing poems and lyrics, NFL/AFC games (on TV - hate big crowds), music, entertaining, studio recording, collecting, traveling, challenges, card and board games, and much, much more ...
Do you like to cook? Would you be willing to spend some time in the kitchen, willing to be a 'food taster'? I promise not to poison you. I love to cook and to invent new dishes and delicacies, and most of the time I don't write my recipes down - ;-)
