I appreciate the give and take that curious listeners provide for one another. Spirituality is important. I have been on an interesting path that has included a variety of practices. I relish time to meditate, to do healing chanting, to sometimes attend a New Thought church. First experiences with spiritual things began in a woods as a young child. I love to cook when someone is in the kitchen with me chopping veggies and interrupting my work with carresses and kisses. I have been involved in different studies and practices of transformational therapy and appreciate someone who is able to delve into the mysteries of themselves and to live in the present. I thrive in the light and in nature, love the curtains to be open. Living in Ecuador for 30 years provided an insight into accepting more easily peoples of different cultures and attitudes.I learned to adapt to another world that is interesting complcated and charming. I have a daughter, grandson and a house there and visit about once a year. The climate is the answer to a dream, a great place to pass the winters. Though I have worked as a teacher, translator, and many other activities, my favorite work is either in my home or being involved in various volunteer activities that I do. My biggest love is being at home and sharing in a family nest which I miss a lot. Honesty and openness are very important along side open communication.I am gracious, friendly and alive around others. I could move, relocate, change jobs, not work and rearrange my life to suit the situation, yet would like to be able to visit daughters both in Portland and in Ecuador. I am faithful to a fault and a one man woman. Can't even date more than one fellow at a time. Meaningful conversations, good movies that are not violent and music of all kinds except the screaming stuff of late are appreciated. I look for a real partner who I hope is joyful, funny, loving, warm, cozy, sexy, openly affectionalte and able to feel and commuicate his emotions and interests. I hope you like to build and fix things if you made me dance in the kitchen, share a spontaneous hug even if in the middle of a crowded room, climbed or hugged trees, appreciated my scluptures, and music and were rather neat and cared for yourself very well. If you wera blue jeans, I would like them to be complete and lack the airconditioned holes that me and my 60's friends used to wear. One of my biggest faults is offering advice when unsolicitated, though I am greatly improving so say my daughters. I really like exercise but I don't like to do it alone. I love to share what I am reading and usually that may be spiritual/self help books. There has to be more but you'll have to tell me yourself.

Well I love a person who is skilled and talented in the fields of his interest and is open to looking outside too. Great intelligence tempered with wit, humor lack of sarcasm, humane and funny are good combinations. May he be thoughtful sincere, open and heartfilled, sensitive and also in posession of good judgement. This man has a way to support himself. He is generous and shares easily, as I am happy to do also.
