My ideal first date? Let's just meet for coffee, or ice cream, have good conversation, maybe a short walk around town and agree on a second date!

After that, in the summertime, let's take a day trip to the ocean, eat seafood at a roadside stand, explore the local color and have a romantic dinner by the water. Or we can kayak on a lake or a stream, see a show or go to a local antique store, find a cozy diner off the beaten track.

In the fall, let's go to a festival, drink hot cider and eat freshly made cider donuts at an orchard. Take a hike in the woods or a drive to see the foliage.

In the winter, let's go cross country skiing if there is snow, followed by hot chocolate and sitting by a fire. Or we can go to a play or a movie matinee. Let's make a homemade comfort meal and watch movies snuggled in for the night.

In spring we are open to new possibilities, maybe a vacation, a home project or just taking a walk around town to breathe in the spring air.
