I believe most of us are on dating sites like this because we are seeking companionship. But not just anyone - right? There are so many facets to companionship: temperament is a biggie, likes and dislikes, strong silent type or open communicator, selfish or giving, spiritual and religious views, and so much more. I listen and share my feelings easily, which helps get the sense of who the other person really is. Good looks is a bonus, but there is so much more to a person than the physical. I am mild tempered and easy going, and that is what I hope to find in someone. I am a child of the 60's, so you could say I am Mr. Natural seeking his Earth Momma. I am into natural things and would like to grow my own food and use plants for medicine. All of my animals are rescued, and I support animal rights. I am also an activist for issues that affect our planet. I am a Veteran, and was a union Ironworker for 20 years in Alaska. After going back to college, I became a Software Engineer 20 years ago and still work in IT. At some point in the near future I hope to retire at the beach with an amazing woman and partner who will share this Journey in Life together. Things have changed in how we meet and date due to this virus.
For now its seems we need to step outside the box to actually meet and date. I think phone calls and video chats will help get a sense of shared interests and chemistry. If it feels right at that point, I suggest cooking dinner together, renting a movie for a date night. Relationships are started by spending time together the way a couple would doing things together.

Sleeping in on a Saturday morning snuggling with my Lover, having coffee and being affectionate. Then up for a shower together and then off to find a quaint little cafe for brunch, then find a Flea or Farmers Market to check out. There are lots of things to do for fun with the right partner.
