I think I'm sort of boring but my co-workers and male friends think I'm interesting and a lot of fun, or so they say. Guess when you're my age, you've done a lot, worked at all kinds of jobs, tried business ventures, and done things that just seem ordinary, but I'm learning that not everyone has lived that way and done or experienced what I have. My kids are grown and gone and it's just me and my Shih-Zue - I'm not beautiful but I clean up good... tee-he.

To live in a measureable amount of joy, at peace with who I am, have been, and will or can be. Right now, am working towards retirement and making my newly acquired property – a little park and abode I can enjoy. Even though fixing it up will be part of the fun, I’m anxious to have it done, now. :-) I also want to get back into a church, find time to help others now and then, and write a best seller.

Min forestilling om hvad der er sjovt er

In lieu of the fact I have been widowed for 11-years – “fun” has taken on a life of its own ... in rediscovery ... and trying new things, and there's not that much to do or try where I live; So, I guess my present fun revolves around home projects, social outings, family, reading, painting, and sometimes watching TV. I also like to relax near a lake, eat-out, and now and then gaming at the nearby casino.

Hvad leder du efter?

Am always attracted to someone who has a decent character, and is a good communicator; someone with manners and respect for me and others; someone who is down-to-earth but also has a bit of class when appropriate. I find foul language ignorant and a turn-off. I admire someone who is spiritual and seeking to live a Christian life in spite of all the flaws that we have (and are going to have – till we die). I like someone who puts his hand on the curve of my back when they notice I am stepping down something like school bleachers ... (a stranger recently did that to steady me and it felt so protective and sweet). And I really wish I had someone who liked to fix-up things! I have an add-on-project I want to do, and I think it would be so much fun to be sharing it with someone, and with someone stronger and more talented at it than me - I’m horrible with a saw and hammer. lol
