My Idea Of Fun Is

In lieu of the fact I have been widowed for 11-years – “fun” has taken on a life of its own ... in rediscovery ... and trying new things, and there's not that much to do or try where I live; So, I guess my present fun revolves around home projects, social outings, family, reading, painting, and sometimes watching TV. I also like to relax near a lake, eat-out, and now and then gaming at the nearby casino.

Am always attracted to someone who has a decent character, and is a good communicator; someone with manners and respect for me and others; someone who is down-to-earth but also has a bit of class when appropriate. I find foul language ignorant and a turn-off. I admire someone who is spiritual and seeking to live a Christian life in spite of all the flaws that we have (and are going to have – till we die). I like someone who puts his hand on the curve of my back when they notice I am stepping down something like school bleachers ... (a stranger recently did that to steady me and it felt so protective and sweet). And I really wish I had someone who liked to fix-up things! I have an add-on-project I want to do, and I think it would be so much fun to be sharing it with someone, and with someone stronger and more talented at it than me - I’m horrible with a saw and hammer. lol
